In the realm of pain, emotions intertwine,

A symphony of anguish, a tale undefined.

It pierces the heart, a relentless blow,

Leaving scars unseen, a burden to know.

Yet amidst the darkness, strength shall arise,

Pain is an unpleasant, multifaceted, personal experience which is influenced to varying degrees by biological, psychological, social. Factors.  It is always a subjective experience and cannot be reduced to activity in sensory pathways.

Visceral, Deep somatic,. Superficial,  Neuropathic,  Acute /chronic types of pains are listed and I believe breakthrough pain is actually intense and that breaks through.

We all want to get rid of the pain immediately.

Sometimes it is called the 5th vital sign. Pain score can tell and focus on the treatment and balancing pain control.

It is very useful in altering along the nervous pathways.
