There is no health without mental health. Actually anxiety is a simple common emotion in our daily life when we deal with simple problems. Occasional anxiety is ok. But when it is persistent, excessive then it affects a person's ability to function then it becomes a disorder.
Symptoms: Confusion, on edge, helplessness, palpitations and difficulty breathing, sleep problems, tense muscles, unable to stop thinking about a problem.

Drug withdrawal or misuse,
Medical conditions like thyroid conditions, heart conditions can cause symptoms similar to anxiety disorders.
Childhood abuse or death of a loved one or being attacked can cause or be linked to anxiety disorders.
It is very important to find out the cause which is causing anxiety when talking to a doctor.
Risk factor: Trauma, severe illness, low self esteem , negative life events, substance abuse are the factors which are likely to develop anxiety disorders.

Medications, talk to your doctor
Psychotherapy:
This is a type of counselling that helps you learn how your emotions affect your behaviour or talk therapy.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy:
This therapy teaches you how to turn negative, panic causing, thoughts and behaviours into possible ones. You will learn ways to carefully approach and manage fearful situations without anxiety.

Learn to relax
Get better sleep.
Cut down on foods such as coffee, energy drinks, as coffee is a mood altering drug.
Stick to your treatment plan.
Get together with friends.
Seek support.
Ask your doctor or pharmacists before taking any Over the counter meds as some chemicals that cause anxiety symptoms worse.
For most people with this disorder, a combination of medicine and counselling is best.
